PROFILE
My interest in photography started when I was 11 years old, I enjoyed going everywhere and photographing anything I saw.
I especially enjoyed taking photos in black & white, even today I enjoy converting my photographs to black & white as I believe they have more character than color photos.
I started taking wedding photos at the age of 17 for friends and family and developed a passion for the field straight away. However it was not until I reached 26 that I thought about becoming a professional wedding photographer.
Before taking the leap I decided to save up for a year then if I had enough work to last the year after I would leave my job and become a full-time professional Wedding Photographer, which I was able to do.
Shortly after becoming a full-time wedding photographer I decided to gain some kind of professional qualifications in wedding photography, to show to my prospective clients that I am fully professional...I did this by becoming a member of the Royal Photographic Society (ARPS).
Taking the jump to become a Professional Wedding Photographer was the best thing I have ever done, I get so much pleasure from taking wedding photographs and been part of such a special day.
Having now been a wedding photographer for the past 15 years, be it I've only been a professional for the last 6 years it has enabled me to be part of hundred's of people's once in a lifetime special day's.
I have had the fortune to travel all over the UK taking wedding photographs.
I understand more than most that your wedding day is a very special day, but to me that does not mean that it has to be regimental. I can get along with anyone and become a part of your wedding day as I have a very relaxed approach to wedding photography, which gives me the chance to get the most out of people.
The biggest compliment I get is "We knew you was there, but you was not in the way"
